News for Autumn 2025
We are having a family fun event on 2nd November 2025 2 to 4pm at Ovington Social Club. A ‘treasure hunt’ trail will be around Ovington village to find ceramic tiles with leaves imprinted on them. Participants will identify the leaves on the tiles and submit their entries at Ovington Social Club where refreshments and activities will take place. All welcome to join us in Ovington Social Club even if you don’t want to do the Treasure Hunt.
Work is well underway with our way marker posts. A professional artist is creating designs to reflect the nature to be found at each location. Installation of the posts will be undertaken by the end of this year.
Meanwhile, volunteers are weeding our planted tree seedlings and clearing overgrowth around established trees. A recent survey has found nearly all our planted trees are thriving in spite of the dry summer.
